Subject of the Contract
The “on-line” contract, accepted on the website http://get.ideas.online, shall be concluded between Medidea Lda, with registered office in Rua da Alfândega 78, PT-9000-059 Funchal, VAT PT513335978Economic Activity Classification (CAE) 47990-R3, and a consumer, via an electronic sales system called e-commerce. By consumer, in relation to contracts for the sale of goods or the provision of services, the following is intended: a natural person acting for purposes unrelated to business or professional activities. E-commerce refers to all activities and exchanges of information revolving around financial transactions between individuals and organizations, including public administrations. This contract must therefore be concluded exclusively thought the online channel called “Internet”, at the website address http://get.ideas.online.
Below you will find the sales conditions established by Medidea Lda, which will remain effective until they are modified by the same.
You can purchase the products/services in the Medidea Lda catalog at the time of the order and see them online at the URL http://get.ideas.online, as described in the corresponding information sheets. It is understood that the image accompanying the description of a product cannot fully represent its characteristics. The correct receipt of the order will be confirmed via e-mail response, sent to the e-mail address given to us. This confirmation message will contain the date and time in which the order was executed, as well as an “Order Number”, to be used in any future communication with Medidea Lda. The message will include all the information entered by you. Make sure that the information you provide is correct and complete, and inform us immediately of any change in the information you have provided. You can access and update most of the information provided in the “My profile” section of the website. In the event of non-acceptance of the order, Medidea Lda guarantees timely communication of the fact.
- All prices on the website are prices for the public. Medidea Lda reserves the right to change prices at any time, without notice. In no event will the price change take effect on orders that have already been purchased and confirmed.
- On the website get.ideas.online you will be able to view the availability of the product at the moment it is being ordered.
Type of products and services
On the Medidea Lda portal you will find:
- Teaching materials and editorial products, which can be purchased in paper and digital form
- Audio and video training materials, part of which are downloadable for free, part for a fee
- E-learning courses that can be taken online
- Live streaming training
- Sign-up for experimental workshops
- Sign-up for training events and seminars
The following credit cards are accepted: Visa, Mastercard, PostFinancecard, PostFinance e-Finance
Payment by “bank transfer” must be received within 3 days from the order, dated on the same day the transfer is made. After this date the order will be considered void.
In the Reason for payment you must indicate:
Order number and date
Surname / Name of the person ordering
After having made the payment, you must email our bookkeeper at email@example.com notification of the payment; after 24/48 hours for monitoring, and having confirmed the availability of the product, we will proceed immediately with the shipment.
Payment via PayPal (http://www.paypal.com) takes place at the moment of ordering.
The coding takes places directly on the secure website of the credit institution. The bank server’s software encrypts the information and ensures that internet transactions remain private and protected. The bank uses a security protocol called “SSL” (Secure Sockets Layer).
Terms and delivery costs
Each order processed on http://get.ideas.online will be delivered with a regular transport document. Medidea Lda shall issue an invoice for the shipped material, sending it via email to the originator of the order within 48 hours. For issuing the invoice, the information you provide at the time of order will be used. No change will be possible on the invoice after having issued the same. Following the receipt of the goods, you may download the purchase invoice at any moment by accessing the customer portal, using the credentials that will be provided to you. Please note that in the case of a training course, the relative invoices may only be downloaded for the current year. No responsibility can be attributed to Medidea Lda in the event of a delay in order fulfillment or in the delivery of the order. Upon delivery of the goods by courier, you must check the following: that the packaging is not damaged or wet or otherwise altered, including in the sealing materials (adhesive tape or metal straps). Any damage must be immediately reported to the courier making the delivery. Once the courier’s document is signed, you may not make any objection about the appearance of what was delivered. Any problems with the physical integrity, the resemblance or the completeness of the received products must be reported within 7 days from delivery, in the manner provided herein.
In case of payment via PayPal, the delivery will be made to the client’s address for the PayPal account that was used.
Right of withdrawal
When purchasing physical goods, the right of withdrawal must be exercised within 10 working days following the purchase. When purchasing events, seminars, or workshops, this right must be exercised within 7 business days.

For entry into events, workshops and seminars, you will need to give authorization to the processing of your image for normal business activities as described in the registry of commerce.
Medidea Lda accepts no responsibility for errors, interruptions, defects, dropped lines or any other reason attributable to the user’s diligence.
Guaranteed satisfaction and reimbursement
The guaranteed satisfaction and reimbursement can be applied also in the event of the purchases of intangible goods, such as training events. In the case of a 2-day event, if, at the end of the first day, the client’s expectations are not met, you may contact the administrator in charge to seek reimbursement of the registration fee. In the case of a 1-day event, this guarantee may be requested half way through the day and you may receive reimbursement of the registration fee.
Method of withdrawal
Obligations of the buyer
Once the “online” purchase procedure has been concluded, you are required to provide for the printing and conservation of these general conditions that, moreover, you will have already seen and accepted, in that it is a required step in the acquisition, in addition to the specifications of the product being purchased. It is strictly forbidden to enter false and/or invented and/or made up data in the registration process required to activate your procedure for the execution of this contract and the subsequent communication thereof. Personal data and the email address entered must be your real personal data and not that of third parties or made up. Medidea Lda reserves the right to prosecute any violation or abuse, in the interest and for the protection of consumers.
By filling out the appropriate space on the website, you authorize Medidea Lda to use your credit card, or other card issued in replacement thereof, and to debit your bank account in favor of Medidea Lda for the total amount indicated as the cost of the “online” purchase. The procedure takes place via a secure connection that is directly connected to the Bank, the owner and the operator of the “online” payment service, which Medidea Lda cannot access.
The personal information requested during the order is processed so as to meet your express requirements and will not, under any circumstance and for any reason, be sold to third parties. Medidea Lda guarantees to its customers it will respect the regulations for processing personal data, covered in the privacy code under article 6, Law N.67/98 of 26.10.1998. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The sales contract between you and Medidea Lda is concluded in Portugal and is governed by Portuguese Law. The forum for resolving civil and criminal litigation arising from the conclusion of this sales contract is Funchal. As a consumer you may act, in addition to before the competent courts of Funchal, also before the courts of the EU member state in which you reside or are domiciled, for bringing about a dispute in relation to these General Conditions of Sale.

If you use Medidea Lda’s services, you are required to keep your account and password confidential and to control access to your computer and devices, and you agree, to the extent permitted by applicable laws, to be held responsible for all activities that may occur with your account and your password. You agree to take all necessary precautions in order to ensure that your password remains secure and confidential and you agree to inform us immediately if you have reason to believe that any third party is aware of your password, or if your password is, or is likely to be, used in an unauthorized manner. You may not use these Services for the following: (i) to cause, or allow to cause, interruptions, damage or malfunction to the Services themselves or their capabilities, or (ii) for fraudulent purposes, or in any case to commit illicit activities, or (iii) to cause disturbance, damage or apprehension.
We reserve the right to prevent access to the site and/or Services of Medidea, to suspend or terminate an account, to remove or edit content of our website at our discretion, in the event of a violation of legal provisions, of these General Conditions, or of the guidelines or any applicable policies.
